Position Summary

This recruitment will be used to fill ten (10) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Peer Educator for the College of Engineering Admin at Oregon State University (OSU).

CoE Peer Educators provide peer-led academic support in specific subject areas, assisting students in their learning process and helping students to better understand ideas or concepts from their courses. The Peer Education Program and team are committed to helping build community within CoE. We strive to build and sustain a welcoming work environment where we support our teammates and the community we serve. The positive connections made with students are, at times, as meaningful as academic skill development in supporting our student success efforts.
Peer Educators are actively engaged in the promotion and management of the Program. Please note that this position supports students from Corvallis, Ecampus, and Cascades campuses. Training and orientation are required to prepare students for this peer support position.
